Poster Contest Rules
Submission Guidelines:
*You must currently be a middle or high school student.
*Your name must be removed from the submission.
*Your submission is a guarantee you are the original artist of the creative work you are submitting.
*All submissions must come with a typed page containing your name, address, school name, grade, phone number, email address and your signature. As well as the name of your guardian and their signature if submitter is under 18.
*Entries should be dropped off or mailed to ONE of the following locations:

Counseling and Testing Center, Western Kentucky University, 409 Potter Hall, Bowling Green KY 42101 or call 745-3159 (attention: Elizabeth Mohon).
All submissions must meet the following deadlines and requirements:
** Can be drawn, computer designed, etc. (no limits)
** Can be on poster like format but prefer electronic submission as well.
** Themed for “Take Back the Night”.
Chosen design will be used as logo for the Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) “Take Back the Night” Tshirt.
Note: By submitting to this contest, you are giving Hope Harbor, Inc and it’s SAAM affiliates permission to reproduce as necessary for advertisement, educational and/or awareness purposes. You also give permission to be posted to the website of Hope Harbor, Inc. and/or it’s SAAM committee affiliates. This design becomes property of Hope Harbor, Inc.
History: “Take Back the Night” is a march/rally to increase awareness against sexual violence. It’s a very visual and powerful display of taking a stand against sexual violence. With 1:3 females and 1:6 males being a victim of sexual assault in their lifetime, it’s evident this is a problem that affects the entire community. So, we must help to Break the Silence and speak out against this silent epidemic.
Notification: Winners will be chosen and notified by phone or email on/or before, February 19, 2010.
Deadline for submissions:
*Friday, February 19, 2010
*all mailed entries must be postmarked by Friday, February 19, 2010 to be considered.
