Victim Information & Notification Everyday
VINE is a statewide, automated victims' notification service. Through a computerized system, critical information is available to crime victims about specific inmates housed in local jails and adult correctional facilities. This information is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Through computer generated telephone calls, all registered persons will be contacted when the inmate is scheduled for release or escapes from custody. Kentucky Association of Sexual Assault
KASAP offers technical assistance by developing and implementing training, evaluation tools, curricula, and other educational opportunities. An important part of KASAP's work is raising the awareness of Kentucky's citizens about the issues of sexual violence. KASAP also takes an active role in the legislative process in Kentucky. Through legislative monitoring, lobbying, and advocacy, the Association stays in the forefront of political activity in the Commonwealth.
